Miami Travel Dream, owner Viola-Rosa Mieres, takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. Below I explain how your data is processed.
1. Processing of personal data
1.1 Data processing via the website
1.1.1 Contact form
When using the contact form, the following data is collected:

E-mail address
message text
Purpose of processing:
The data will be used exclusively to process your request.
Legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the contract).
Storage:
The data will be stored for a maximum of 6 months if no further communication takes place. If a booking is made, the corresponding retention periods apply (see point 2).
The data is stored in a password-protected digital system on my laptop and a backup stick.
1.1.2 Direct bookings via the website
When booking via the website (e.g. theme-specific travel guides or travel packages), the following data is collected:
name
E-mail address
billing address
payment data
Purpose of processing:
The data is used to process the booking, issue an invoice and provide the booked service.
Legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the contract).
Storage:
Data is retained for 10 years in accordance with tax law requirements and stored in a password-protected digital system on my laptop and a backup stick.
Note on direct links:
For topic-specific travel guides and packages, customers receive direct links to third-party providers (e.g. for tickets). Personal data is not passed on to these providers. As soon as you click on external links, data processing is subject to the data protection guidelines of the respective third-party provider. I accept no responsibility for the collection, processing or use of your data by third parties.
1.1.3 User reviews and Google ratings
If you decide to share a testimonial (text and optional photo), it will be published on the website and on social media channels with your first name.
Google reviews:
The reviews can be integrated into the homepage. Google is responsible for the content and visibility of the reviews on Google.
Legal basis:
Consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
Revocation:
You can revoke your consent at any time.
1.1.4 Affiliate links
There are affiliate links on the website that allow you to use offers from third-party providers. When you click on these links, data may be collected by the third-party provider.
A notice:
The respective third-party provider is responsible for the processing of this data.
1.2 Data processing in the context of travel planning and advice
1.2.1 Processed data
For personalized travel planning and advice as well as optional additional services, the following fees are charged:

Information about interests, preferences and concerns (from the contact form or initial interview)
For personalized travel planning, additional information: travel dates, length of stay, location of accommodation, relationship between travelers, age of children (if applicable), individual wishes and interests.
1.2.2 Purpose of processing
Travel planning and advice: Creation of your individual travel plan and communication with you.
General travel advice: The consultation takes place online via Zoom and usually lasts 15 to 60 minutes. Your name and email address are processed in order to arrange and carry out the appointment. The consultation is not recorded.
Personalized travel planning: The initial planning consultation also takes place online via Zoom and lasts about 45 minutes. The above-mentioned data is collected in order to create the individual travel plan. This conversation is also not recorded.
Support service & booking assistance (on request): Support during your stay in Miami and in case of booking problems/language problems via direct links provided (e.g. for tickets). During the support service, I can be reached via chat or email and will respond within 24 hours, depending on the desired contact method.
Disclosure to cooperation partners (on request): If desired, personal data (e.g. name, contact details or specific requirements) can be transmitted to selected cooperation partners in the USA (such as personal trainers, yoga studios or tour guides) in order to provide the desired service. The USA is considered a third country outside the EU/EEA in which an adequate level of data protection in accordance with EU standards is not guaranteed. In particular, data can be viewed by US authorities without effective legal remedies. The data will only be disclosed on the basis of your express consent in accordance with Art. 49 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and only if the disclosure is necessary to provide the service you have requested. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. Please note that I cannot guarantee the data protection standards of the cooperation partners.
Other recommended providers:
For recommended providers who are not cooperation partners, I provide direct links in the travel plan. In this case, your data will not be passed on. As soon as you click on external links, the data processing is subject to the data protection guidelines of the respective third-party provider.
1.2.3 Invoicing and payment processing
The data is used to create and store invoices in accordance with legal requirements.
When making payments via external service providers such as PayPal, the required payment data is processed directly by these providers. You can view the data protection provisions of these third-party providers directly on their websites. I do not collect any of my own payment data and leave the data processing entirely to the respective payment service provider.
1.2.4 Data processing in Germany and international customers:
All personal data is processed and stored in Germany. For customers from non-EU countries, the GDPR applies with regard to the processing and storage of data by the responsible party, even if the data is physically stored in Germany.
1.2.5 Data protection at Zoom
I use Zoom for online consultations and planning meetings. During the conversations, your name and email address are processed in order to organize and conduct the appointment. The conversations are not recorded. Zoom is a service of Zoom Video Communications, Inc. based in the USA. 2. Storage period
Invoice data: 10 years according to § 147 AO and § 257 HGB.
Data from travel planning: 6 months after completion of the service.
Testimonials and photos: Until consent is revoked.
3. Your rights
